Adventure Programming at Red Mountain Colorado
Your child will learn how to overcome struggles caused by mental health issues through a hybrid of traditional residential programming and adventure therapy. Our mindfulness philosophy ensures students gain the skills they need to ensure long term change.

Hybrid Residential and Adventure Therapy Program
Our program combines the needed structure of residential therapy with adventure components. Students will be in a structured environment conducive to treatment, while having the added benefits of an experiential approach.
Our focus on experiential therapy includes hiking, Yoga, and other activities to help students develop more positive thought patterns and work through behavioral and emotional challenges. With adventure therapy layered on top of the traditional residential setting, students enjoy the benefits of a holistic therapeutic approach.
Meditation and Mindfulness
While many programs offer mindfulness as an add-on to therapy, Red Mountain Colorado puts mindfulness at the center of our approach. We believe in the healing power of meditation and mindfulness, making it an excellent therapeutic approach. When students practice mindfulness, they learn to:

Daily meditation classes help students center themselves and address challenges in a non-traditional way. We also provide clinical sessions for students. We believe this holistic approach helps students work through their trauma in a way that most treatment centers do not. By using a well-rounded approach, we can initiate healthy habits that students can use for the rest of their lives.
