Our Student Profile

Red Mountain Colorado was founded to help struggling teens with behavioral and emotional challenges. Our inclusive program provides a safe and nurturing environment for teens aged 14-17 who are assigned male at birth and express themselves anywhere along the gender spectrum as well as trans-male students. Our passionate staff ensures that each of our students experiences growth in freedom, trust, community connection, and responsibility. Students leave our programs confident in their abilities, and ready to live their best possible life.

A Red Mountain Colorado student may be experiencing any combination of the following symptoms/struggles:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Trauma
  • Substance Use
  • Process Addictions
  • ADHD
  • Mood Disorder: mild to moderate (stabilized
    on medication)
  • Attachment Issues
  • Mild Autism Spectrum
  • Learning Disorder/Difference
  • Family Relational Issues

Unfortunately, we can not accept students who meet the following criteria:

  • FSIQ below 90: reliable
  • Full Personality Disorder Diagnosis
  • Active suicidality or suicidal ideation
  • Thought Disorder/Psychosis: as a symptom of
  • schizophrenia or schizo-affective disorder
