Daily Life


Your teen will experience extensive, customized therapy in family, group and individual settings. Our Master’s-level clinicians focus on a wide range of topics including, but not limited to, relationships, self-esteem, psychosocial wellness, honesty, increasing efficacy and self-esteem, and promoting self-awareness.

Your teen will also engage in experiential activities and adventures on a weekly basis as part of Red Mountain Colorado’s strong psychosocial treatment program.

Schedule varies depending upon community activities, but each day includes group, exercise, and off-campus and on-campus “weekend fun” activities.

Our Weekly Treatment Schedule for Your Teen Includes:

  1. Mindfulness, meditation and yoga practice
  2. Individual and group therapy (and family therapy most weeks)
  3. Self-care time built into each day
  4. Weekly reserved time for spirituality or religious practices, if student desires
  5. Extensive experiential and wilderness components

Our Community Activities for Your Teen Includes:

  1. NA & AA
  2. Boxing at Sanchez Boxing &  Jiu Jitsu at The Farm
  3. Yoga and Meditation
  4. Community Rec on Saturdays which includes activities like movies, bowling, lazer tag, roller skating, ice skating, arcade, ropes course, pumpkin patch, mini golf, and thrifting.
  5. Volunteering at a Garden
  6. Going to the local Recreation Center up to 4 times a week
