Massachusetts Families Finding Help For Troubled Teens
Massachusetts Troubled Teens Find Help at Red Mountain Colorado
When you find out that your Massachusetts child is acting out and engaging in negative behaviors, it can be tough to know what to do. You never want your child to be considered a “troubled teen”. But by knowing the truth of the situation, you’ll be better equipped to get the right help for your Massachusetts teenager.
Your child really needs more help than you can offer at home. Your son needs the chance to really look at both his behaviors and what is underlying them, while also developing new ways of being. One of the best ways to accomplish this is by having him go to a residential treatment center. With this type of treatment, he will get therapy, academics, supportive peers, and the skills needed to maintain long-term success.
Red Mountain Colorado is located near Denver, Colorado but we help teens from Massachusetts

Massachusetts Teens Engage and Grow with Adventure Therapy
To really heal, your troubled Massachusetts teen needs to be an active participant in their own therapeutic journey. While traditional talk therapy is an important part of the process, a teen-focused treatment program allows for more experiential modalities including Adventure Therapy.
Adventure Therapy is an activity-based and hands-on approach that Red Mountain Colorado uses to engage with adolescent boys troubled with mental health challenges. Each week, students will get outside and active with experiences like white-water rafting, skiing, and rock climbing.
Red Mountain Colorado’s adventure activities are intentionally challenging, fun, and offer a host of benefits. Adolescents develop improved communication skills, self-esteem, and distress tolerance. They learn how to apply problem-solving skills in unfamiliar and complex situations.
In addition to these transferable skills, Adventure Therapy exposes Massachusetts teens to new hobbies and leisure activities. Many times, our students have found that risky behaviors have become the only way they know how to have fun. Adventure Therapy exposes them to safe, exciting, and fun activities.
Our location outside of Denver, CO means that we have access to a wide variety of outdoor activities. And while Red Mountain Colorado is located outside of Massachusetts, we work with teens from around the United States, including Massachusetts.
At Red Mountain Colorado, a residential treatment center for troubled Massachusetts boys, your son can find the help and support he needs to achieve lasting healing. By engaging in Adventure Therapy, your son will work through the internal strugglings and negative beliefs that have held him back, which will help him unlock his potential to grow and succeed.
